GRIMES, WIlliam O. - Putnam

Greencastle – Services for William O. Grimes, 58, Greencastle, Putnam County Treasurer, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home here, where calling will be from 2-8 p.m. today.  Mr. Grimes died Tuesday in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was elected county treasurer last November.  A lifelong Greencastle resident, he had been a right of way agent for Consoer Townsend Engineering here for 16 years. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was a member of Greencastle Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge, American Legion Post 58, VFW and the Right of Way Association.  Survivors: wife, Mary Grimes; son, Bruce Grimes, daughter, Lissa Grimes.
